Hey all, I just started my own web design firm. I have had years of experience designing and managing both CSS/HTML and CMS driven websites. I am going to be offering my services for free for a week or two so I can build up my portfolio. Don't you think it would be worthwhile designing and building your own website (ie. not using a WordPress theme) if you're thinking of selling your services for website design?

I do have one job for you though. I'm thinking of producing a site that merges the success and functionality of Amazon, ebay and Google together. If you could just knock up this site for me, that would be dandy.

Heh. Yeah, I plan to buy my own domain and hosting once I finish a project for a client I am working on now (product review website using e107). I'll have some money in my PayPal account so I will be able to afford a domain. Free Wordpress blogs don't let you use custom CSS unfortunatley.

I'm not sure what the payment terms are but this could be a good project for you to have in your portfolio...

Other than paid work, your website should come first.

Don't bother doing free sites for other people when a spanking site for yourself would do a much better job.
