Bradford Based Web Designer
Wow, I hope this goes better than the last guy who was from Bradford.. Ok so this isn't really an advertisement more of an introduction, I couldn't see any other place to really post a "hello" so I figured trying to sell myself was the next best thing.. I'm a web developer trying to turn web designer (mainly as a pass time). In the past I was a technical web developer for Intel Corporation (industrial placement), my role was mainly making sure everything worked and was updated (EMEA wide) when needed. I have since moved back to Yorkshire and settled back into university life. I build websites on the side, most of which are for friends or family, the odd one or two for local companies (currently working with the City Of Bradford YMCA).. As I said above I am a developer, I code things, but to be honest I never really found it fun so I decided to try and move into the more designer role, things are not going to badly, but I certainly have room for major improvement. Most of my work uses Textpattern CMS as I find it to be possibly the most versatile Open Source CMS available.. I also use the wonder moo.fx libs for my javascript goodness. I only noticed that after I signed up, oh how I wish I could turn back time. It does however seem like a waste now that i'm here to re-sign up for the sake of an 0.. but be aware, I will live with the shame for the rest of my life.. |
