DevBoards.net have just launched our first Event of 2006! We are offering payments to members who help our community grow by posting. We are payng per post, thread and referal.

Our Rates:

$0.10 for signing up
One account per IP address and 10+ posts

$0.08 per new post

$0.10 per new thread

$0.75 per successful referal
New user must make 10+ posts to be valid

Sounds like a bollocks idea to me, paying people to use your forum. What do you gain exactly? Forums are built on a good community, not chucking it's users a bit of loose change for shite posts.

All the mods here get paid to post, i've racked up nearly 10 grand so far. Apparently Oli's some sort of Mr Big in a money laundering racket (he's got tattoos on his knuckles and drive a Capri - so you know he means business). I don't know the specifics, it's best not to ask too many questions.
