I meant BRIGHT 'pure' versions of those... Personally I think pink is a very interesting colour - 'coz you don't need to do much to it before it starts looking obscure! (and it's nice playing with people's preconceptions
Pink (as a general 'term') is branded with certain associations... colour of ('white') skin, lips, 'girlie', corporate colour of barbie
, femininity... you could say the colour is organic - nevertheless, generelly speaking - rejected by the mainstream. Pink is very frequent in nature...
Now take turquoise... Seen any flowers? I can only think of birds feathers and minerals/stones...! The colour is almost artificial! It has been celebrated by ancient cultures - native Americans... Ancient Egypt... Quite a rare colour... achieved hight status in the past! Still, I think probably the most dodgy of all
Can be nice in small amounts, (I think...) especially when combined with orange or dark blue...
Turquoise - the colour of bathrooms? I think it's a strange one!
