Didn't use to worry about mailing 90,000+ Freemoney members, with just a couple of checks first.
Went wrong once though and had to send out an apologetic e-mail to everyone the next day with a fresh copy of what should have went the day before.
Because of this some nob complained to spamcop who, despite the fact that the complaint came from a double opt-in member, reported me to my ISP since I'd sent the mail locally rather than from the server due to back-end limitations on mailmerge... ISP suspended my account for 12 days because of it causing me much grief.
Also got numerous complaints from irate members about the 'severe inconvenience' they had encountered due to receiving 2 e-mails and that they should receive that months £1,000 prize as compensation. Blah.
Ohhh how I shit it everytime I had to hit the button after that happy occasion.
