I just read a review on the 550D that was pretty complimentary saying in a lot of specs it rivals the prosumer 7D considering the 550 is $1k cheaper that sounds pretty good. I'm not that up on cameras nor their abilities and I'm sure the 7D is a better camera for a lot of reasons, just going on the comparison.
