I used to live in saudi arabia, back in the early eighties, and they used to put that shit on the telly. Middle of the day, usually when i got home from school.
I don't condone that method of criminal justice, but not many thieves and violent offenders walking about in saudi though... Unless they're in the rather expansive royal family of course.
