I agree that with Web-mania, I've experienced more down-time than usual, although nothing close to 50%. More like 0.05% of the time. I estimated about 10 hours in a week, if you factor in 7 days and 24 hours a day (thus 168 hours). That's still damn good if you ask me. Of course, you might be having a fair share of problems due to one particular server.

Also, there have been a few exceptional incidents where they were less than helpful/friendly, but atleast they did provide some technical support and gave me some kind of answer.

On the whole, I still like them. I use to be hosted by Lycos (do they still do their own hosting?) and I tell you, that was a bloody nightmare. They pulled my site offline for over 4 months, for claiming to have not paid them for 1 months fee (I dont know how, my bank account was adequatly filled). I kept sending them emails telling them that I was willing to pay them immediately and even pay for 2 years hosting, to prevent such a thing to happen again. But they continued to ignore me, then get back to me a month later and ask again what the problem was (starting from the beginning) and then I wouldnt hear from them for another month, and then they would call asking why I haven't paid, etc etc... what a nightmare...

Web-mania may not be perfect, but atleast you get pretty good service, and a pretty good deal.

My 2 cents.
