i have the ip1500, its got the same print heads but not pict bridge, which im not really interested. The print quality is fantastic for a few hundred £ printer let alone one that costs £45!! The colour cartridge is a little small but has lasted me quite a while and its only £12 on the high street and far less on the net.

I print A4 full colour photos in about 30 - 40 secs.

Make sure you spend the money on photo paper though. I only use Ilford and get far better results than Kodak, Fuji and Canons paper.
