the brief is that they must load in sequentially once the section is entered + the initial image that the user selected must load first (each groups images are initialy shown as a scrolling rack on the main page from where the initial selection is made).

Can't preload them from the get go as they're large photographic images (about 180 of them at 80 - 180 k) and from the first page any of them can be accessed?

I figured they should be cached, are there any known problems with flash retreving files from the cache ?
