Mr. Browny and the Camster....
I do appreciate what you're saying. I realised last week with Browsercam that there are several problems on various browsers with this site , my first attempt to get 'validated' by the way....so my main concern here is to be able to stick one of those nasty w3c logos on the site (not that I will) but for my CV it's gotta be progress !!
The browser thing is something that I will get more involved in. deffo. and rightly so.
However, if my employers, clients and colleagues are happy with the end results, generally - then it becomes financially awkward to expect me to develop for all platforms, browsers and abilities without passing that fee down the line for someone to pay for.
I'll try to get into those habits in my own time of course, and for the future, but if a 2 day job here in work started to take 5 days because of browser issues - to cater for 5% of potential users - then I'll quickly find myself out of a job, and have all the time in the world to experiment, while selling my CD's to pay for the rent !!
We ARE on the same side though, trust me.
