Me too! Over here in the states I've had luck with headhunters finding my website/resume online and then they battle for the best job...Which in turn means more money for them and me...It's a win win. While I've been at my current job, 2 head hunters called me and offered other jobs - they weren't so great though. I'm not bragging here at all - it's taken about 8 years for this to happen.
Unfortunately it's also who you know...Personally, I don't know anyone - really, so that never helped matters. Plus the people that you do actually get to meet that are working that SHIT HOT JOB at the place you would've loved to work at - turns out they're total wieners and you'll be glad you never actually got that old job you would've died for. (This has happened MANY times.)
GOOD LUCK
btw...I think something got lost in translation...WTF is a CV?
