Do what makes you feel fuzzy inside, which I presume is some sort of graphics design, be it print, or digital... thats the bigger question you need to ask yourself, what *kind* of designer do you want to be ?
Print bores the crap out of me, but the learning curve for web/online design is steeeeeep, there are a lot more things to take into account for an online medium... you must be a good interface-designer, which, again, is something that takes years, and practice to be good at
