Thanks for your response but I am still not sure whether it would be worth my time to learn SQL in order to put all of products into a database rather than just in excel. What would we looking to pay if we had our data from excel put into a database using SQL by someone who is familiar with the language.
If it is worth it to learn SQL, is there a really useful book or website that can teach me how to use it in a relatively short amount of time. I know a little html but not that much at all.
Our data might also present some problems with copying it over to excel or a databse. For instance, we have a bullet point list of components for several products... is it possible to transfer over lists like that into excel or an SQL database?
