I'm an active
twitter user but i used to be a massive skeptic.
It's so pointless!. I don't get it! Why do people need to know what i'm doing?!?!? blah blah blah.
It does have quite a high learning curve and it's easy to "give up on" when you've just registered and are not really sure what's going on.
If you're following
the right people on twitter it can become an immensely useful tool. News usually breaks on twitter before it gets on the popular industry news blogs. It's also a great way of networking with people, i've connected with loads of designers and developers though twitter.
There is also a
great video on youtube explaining everything everything "in plain english".
If you're still on the fence and haven't signed up for an account yet i'd highly recommend it.
