Colour?
Minolta QMS do a good (compact) one, but not sure how much a pack of toner cartridges are. My Lexmark C522 is around 400 odd quid for the full CMYK.
The one the guys use in the office is a Samsung CPL 300N. Cheap as chips and quality looks pretty decent.
