cheers for the help fellas.

you're right - Spyrogeometric Font | dafont.com isn't far off really. the distinctive G's are very similar.

I saw it on a banner ad on last.fm for a band starting (suprisingly) with the word night, but i can't find it now!

I'll keep an eye out, cos it's a style of font i'd love to track down.
