The point I was trying to get across is the abusers of legal substances will always outweigh the abusers of illegal substances all the time due to the "ease of access" factor for the legal stuff. |
The thing that gives recreational drugs a bad name is the odd few people each year who don't take them responsibly. Because the government has a long lasting vendetta against drug use, these few cases get blown-up in the media, and they make it out that drugs like ecstasy are the biggest killers.
Drugs taken in moderation and resposibly shouldn't be painted in such a bad light. The government should be educating people how to take them if they decide to.
