You are probably going to laugh at me for this, but I'll post it anyway.
I run CentOS Linux on the laptop on the left "monitor", and Windows XP64 on the right monitor. I use a KVM switch to switch control of just the keyboard and mouse to either computer. Ideally I'd like to be able to hide the laptop somewhere in my desk and hook it up to a monitor, then put both monitors side by side.
I need to be able to see both screens at the same time, so can't just use the KVM as it was designed. So I need to get 2 monitors which are the same and have thin edges so I can fit them. Thinking about getting 20-22 inch ones if I can fit them on my corner desk (another problem).
My current 19" monitor has a glass screen which is annoyingly reflective, though remarkably easy to clean - but I wont be buying another! I'm not a fan of glossy/shiny screens either.
What monitor(s) do you have, would you recommend it?
