Radiohead kicks off tour in South Florida

Get ready for the concert of the year: Radiohead, which last performed in South Florida almost five years ago (and that was the British art-rock group's first show here in eight years), kicks off its North American tour May 5 at the Cruzan Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach. For those of you who have no idea what the Cruzan is, it's the old Sound Advice Amphitheatre, renamed earlier this month.

Radiohead, led by eerily angel-voiced singer Thom Yorke, is touring in support of its latest album, In Rainbows, which topped The Billboard 200 in early January.

Pre-sale for the show will begin Thursday via W.A.S.T.E. (the band's website -- check out www.waste.uk.com). General sales hit Ticketmaster at 10 a.m. Saturday; tickets are $55 reserved seating and $32.50 festival lawn.
