I'm going through something like this too at the moment. I want a faster machine. There's a great offer here for an HP thing (not white) for just €999 it includes: P4 3.2 gig processor, 1024MB DDR RAM, 160 GB HDD, Multi DVD burner, DVD reader, card reader, 256MB GeForce FX5700VE Graphic card and and and. I don't really want a DVD burner but to buy all these bits separately would cost more than this package so I'm looking at me bank card in a funny way...
