If you're looking for a good design competition, log onto the Formica Design Award website (formicadesignaward.co.uk) to find out about the Formica Design Award. The competition is open to all emerging designers in the UK and Ireland and will close at the end of February 2008.
The competition is set in the context of a sports stadium. Entrants must choose one of four categories (main entrance, public washrooms, VIP hospitality suite, or retail space) and design specific elements for this area or the whole interior scheme as desired. Prize money, work experience and/or design development will be offered ot the overall winner, and individual category winners will also be rewarded.
