Actually his work is good.
The color combo you have chosen is in no way working. Dark grey and light purple and brown. Ditch it. Keep it simple. Or if you're using flash spice it up a lot (

The side banner is crap.
Scrolling is annoying. Why not make pages full size?
Your site is about music (as far as I can tell) yet it lacks any creative touch you'd normally be expecting.
To sum up, looks dated and execution is poor. I'd go back to the drawing board.
