Hello,

A couple of years ago i bought an Epson Stylus Pro 4000. It was to sell artwork prints that i did and it was an awesome quality printer as it used the Ultrachrome Inks.

But, and it was a big but... It's really expensive to run. The inks cost a small fortune. make sure you research this fully before you decide which to buy.

A set of 220ml cartridges was about £400 !! and belive me, they don't last very long. It makes any kind of mistake VERY expensive.

There are cheap 'compatible' cartridges and i used these for a while, but there's a downside, they will most definately clog your printer up after a while, they did mine. The yellow goes first, something to do with the pigment in that particular ink (the Epson engineer told me when he came out to fix it), so be very careful if you go down this route.

Over all, the printer gave excellent results but i wasn't, and still am not rich enough to run it !
