I've built a site using PHP which produces XHTML transitional pages.
I'm looking for someone to skin the site using CSS (see csszengarden for several examples of this technique).
The site needs a layout, logo and supporting graphics/icons. Accessability is important, and whilst that's mostly my job, the designer needs to at least be aware of accessability issues. It goes without saying that you need to have excellent CSS skills. The design should be as cross-browser compatible as possible.
I'm looking for a graphic designer with css skills rather than a developer with graphics skills. I hope that makes sense. I want the site to have a very clean, original and eye catching design and that takes some creative talent. I'm not looking for a standard, run-of-the-mill design, after all, even I can use template monster
What I want is a visually stunning standards compliant, table-less design.
I don't know what the ging rate is for this kind of work but I'm willing to pay up to $250 (paypal). If you're interested, please provide a time/cost estimate and a link to any css/xhtml work you've done in the past. (phpology@hotmail.com)
