True, but the vast majority of the internet is not work for clients.

We can either sit on our hands and moan about having to support IE6 it for ever more, or we can attempt to take a lead and try to change the situation. Take your pick. When I visit a site like stage6.com, I can see a real benefit to installing new software to be able to use it (because it pisses on youtube for quality). We need to make an effort to make the standards compliant sites a more attractive proposition so people will want to upgrade. If we don't do it, who else is going to?
