Consider the The Notwist Neon Golden recommendation seconded and thirded

I have a sweet, little special edition of that on double 3" CD.

While we're on Notwist, add Tied and Tickled Trio's Observing Systems album to the list (T&TT is another of the overlap projects from Notiwst/Lali Puna/Ms John Soda/et al).

Incidentally, SB. Take a listen of some of Notwist's early stuff.
Show's you just how much they've shifted - for the better I hasten to add.

Also, check out their more recent soundtrack to the short film 'Lichter'. V nice.

Also, check out I Know You Know by Guther if you get the chance. Another great album that will grow on you like Lali Puna/Notwist.

Another must have is The Academic Rise of Falling Drifters which is a remix album of Giardini di Miro's The Rise and Fall of Academic Drifters.
Remixers incl. Styrofoam, Hermann & Klein, ISAN, Dntel and Opiate and makes for a great post-rock vs electronica listen.

In case you don't already know to look, you should buy *everything* released by Morr Music and 99.999% of everything on Leaf Label

Chips, you could do alot worse than pick up the outstanding compilation: Pro Bono Publico which has ISO68, Kim Hiorthøy, PanAmerican and Corker/Conboy.
Similarly, Writers Without Homes by Piano Magic is worth owning.
