Maybe you could stick with the pencilled text you already use and play around with that, would provide a link to your old design?

You could push it further and make it quite interesting, it doesn't all have to be sleek computer generated stuff, if you do more practical work maybe the hand done type would say more about you and your way of working?

If not, I'd agree with smallbeer that the typeface looks kiddie and the design would probably benefit from a change.
