Over a year ago, someone I know said that he is running web hosting service, so I asked him if I can have a site hosted by him. Gave him the money, he registered a domain and hosted it on his server.
Recently I've come across the whois info for my site: whois.net/whois_new.cgi?d=ilyatitov&tld=com
It's his name in there. So the question is: Is the domain actually registered to him, and does it belong to him? He didn't give me any documents, nor did I really care at the time of registration. Now I am starting to put work into the site and would not be pleased if it turns out that I don't own it.
I have not spoken to him yet, what should I do?
