Ok I did a quick search of the forum and couldn't find much, although I'm sure I missed a huge thread, but could someone fill me in on why you need the 4-Color Process Guide if you have the Color Bridge swatches?

I just bought the essentials kit and have been using Color Bridge (and the Formula Guides for colors not in the bridge for obvious reasons) but I'm a bit confused on what all the swatches are doing... Well mostly just the 4-Color.
