I have a feeling that it has something to do with your laptops LCD, it smoothens things out or something. I´m behind an old CRT and still can see the jagged and malformed glyphs. These both previously are screen captures and on my end they are way different, the latter is with smooth and clear lines now.

If I would have a decent camera here I could even take better pictures of both.

The images suck but my hands are shaky and the camera on my RAZR is probaby the shittiest on earth.
