I don't mind the layout, it's more the fact that the graphical elements don't really tie in together.
You've used Verdana as a font for the nav and another font altogether for the main content - this isn't working IMO and I think you should just choose one or the other. Also, the grunge graphics are a bit weak (almost as if you're unsure of using them) and I'd like to see them beefed up a bit.
Sort these out and I'm sure it'll look loads better.
