Okay, I want to switch, I'm working with a Windows/Linux laptop with a 1024 x 768 screen, running Adobe Photoshop 6 and I feel that my computer and software is really holding me back.

I have the chance to buy a Mac Mini G4 1.25Ghz/512Mb with 19" CRT, mouse and keyboard. My original intention was to blow my student loan on a Macbook, but this came along for a lot less money.

What I want to know is what sort of resolution can I expect, and how is it going to perform with recent versions of Photoshop? Basically I've had it with PC's, and I want to work in an environment that encourages creativity.

Any help would be great.
