i charge 3 hours of my time for a homepage layout for homers... here at work - i still take no more than 3 hours but if we charged that we wouldnt be doing very well. We usually quote a day for design: 7 hours. It's tryue - it depends on how creative you are feeling that particular day so i would always reccomend blocking off a day.
