The Silver Lining Team. TSL is a fan-made continuation to the King's Quest series. We are a huge team filled with incredibly talented individuals working together to fulfill a dream that started some years ago. We are currently one of the most well publicized fan game projects, and we’ve had appeared in a hand-full of the major videogames media outlets such as: MTV, Gamespy, GameInformer, and IGN, among others.

Team Structure
We have been around for 3 years now and currently our team is conformed of about 50 persons at the moment. The team is structured in 5 essential departments, each one with a Director and an Assistant Director: Design/Writing, Art (modelers, texturers, sketchers, animators…), Programming, Music (SFX, music, voice editing…) & PR-Team (Public Relations and Web).
We are thriving to create an awesome adventure game filled with unique visuals, unforgettable characters and a well-crafted plot. We are currently on the look out for talented individuals who may be able to fill positions available in
3D Texturers,
3D Animators and

Since this is a fan-game and will be completely free to download when completed,
all positions are unpaid and purely voluntary. This also means that we require people who are creative, hard working, dedicated and motivated. Prospective applicants should keep in mind that there are weekly assignments and deadlines. Communication by e-mail and MSN Messenger is required.
Current Talent needed
IMPORTANT: The following things are a must-do to apply:

- SOUND DESIGNER
- Example Tasks: Designing sound effects to go with the animations, cleaning up voices.
- Desired Qualities: Creativity, self-directing and motivation.
- Required Skills: Knowledge of Audio software in the areas of design, mixing and noise reduction.
- Helpful Skills: Pre-recorded sound libraries that can be reused.
- Helpful Experience: Experience in current professional media software.
- Additional Notes: Sound Designers must be able to reproduce the required audio effects as required by the visual story in order to complement it. Additionally, it is expected that sounds designers have knowledge in cleaning up audio files so that they may work with their own sound effects and others such as the voice-overs.
- 3D ANIMATOR
- Example Tasks: Animating a wide variety of characters and objects, real-time character setup (rigging and binding to a skeleton).
- Desired Qualities: Creativity, self-directing and motivation.
- Required Skills:
- Proficiency in realistic motion with strong timing/acting skills.
- Fluent knowledge of Alias Maya.
- At least one year of relevant experience (game development preferred)
- Helpful Skills/Experience:
- Art-related college degree.
- Facial & lip-sync animation experience is a definite plus.
- Technical experience with advanced rigging and/or scripting/expressions.
- Additional Notes: Must be able to work on weekly assignments and feel comfortable working under a senior artist.
Sample work is required (online or e-mail). This can be a single demo-reel not exceeding 100 MB, or separate video files. All samples must be accompanied by a description of each, with specific information on what you were responsible for, what tools were used, etc. Game-loops a plus.

- 3D TEXTURER
- Example Tasks: Unwraps and textures game character and/or background sets.
- Desired Qualities: Creative, meticulous, understanding of colour relations.
- Required Skills: Knowledge of 2D painting software, digital editing, unwrapping 3D models.
- Helpful Experience: Experience in texturing low res character models and/or in texturing game sets and elements.
- Helpful Skills: Knowledge of 3D animation packages.
