I have quite a few clients but I don't necessarily get a new client that requires hosting every month.

Yeah, I might get a few new clients each month and others I just do ongoing work for others every month. But in my experience many clients already have their own hosting or prefer manage it themselves. I think you'll find this is the case in many design studios and they are not "going down the drain".

I don't think this has been thought out properly.
