I love Jimmy Tamborello's (Dntel) Life is Full of Possibilities so was really looking forward to Give Up. Not a patch on the former IMO but still has great moments.
Dead Cities, Red Seas & Lost Ghosts needs swearing about. It's a fucking great album!
And I bought the Shins album on your recommendation. Great 60's inspired laid back pop.
I'll check out Pergola when I get home. Your recommendations haven't failed yet. Guther was another one. Beautiful.
