They've been going on, but mostly haven't crossed over into the mainstream.
RH31 has been released at a time when reggae influence is making a serious impact on the charts, so presumably Jetstar (label for RH series) decided to throw some money into mainstream promotion and catch some of the money flying about while it lasts.
