I didn't say it was anything to do with linux. I was recommending an alternative to installing linux. Never had any problems with XAMPP, that photoshop thing sounds rather odd.

I cannot get IIS to function properly on my win2k machine at home, not bothered with the XP version, can you provide a link to a stripped down install?
